This is one of my business card initial ideas using photoshop and a developed edited drawing of kate's combined to create a ceramic artistic feel.
I really like the colours and brush strokes, however we decided that we need a more contemporary style and more legible typography.
Designing these business cards enabled me to think about my own promotion of design and how I want to appeal when I meet a potential client.
This project has made me think about which direction I want to take my style of work and how I will succeed by selling my ideas in an appropriate manner.
The alignment and spacing of the typography has to compliment the image, it has to be clean sleek and professional as Kate is such a well known ceramist and commissioned such large important projects, for example the new glaze and tiling on the Saville Row build.
